Kirknewton Renovation
We are delighted to showcase the results of a recent renovation carried out in Kirknewton near Edinburgh.

OrrWood was contracted to complete the Kirknewton renovation in 2019. Our clients had an existing home extension and conservatory. They wanted to have this incorporated together with the main building to be used as more of an indoor space.
We removed and re-built the side structure which included all groundwork along with plumbing, joinery, roofing and electrical. Throughout the process we worked alongside our client making any necessary changes along the way to suit their needs and timescale.

Carving out the stone and installing a steel beam to support the bi-folding doors on the second structure was a challenging job.
However the results were impressive as it allows our clients the choice of having a shut off indoor space or to connect with the garden on a lovely summers day.

The roof was also replaced on the second structure. While we also installed red cedar wooden cladding. This ties both extensions in nicely and gives the property a charming contrast of traditional and modern.

Kitchen Installation
Internally we installed a modern design shaker Kitchen with breakfast bar area and laminate flooring which flows beautifully throughout and into the dining areas.
The client was delighted with the final outcome.
This was a project that we thoroughly enjoyed being involved with.
