19 Mar Bearsden Home Extension
This home extension project completed in the Bearsden area of Glasgow involved two extensions being built and connected to either side of the property. One of the extensions is a garage with loft space and the other allows for the Kitchen and a bedroom to both be extended with an en-suite added on.
We first had to dismantle the pre-existing wooden garage to allow for the groundwork to begin.
Upon erecting the roof trusses we discovered a problem with the existing roof of the property as the timber was rotten. We highlighted this to our client immediately and provided them with options going forward to resolve the issue. Our clients chose to have the full roof replaced to avoid potential problems further down the line.
We don’t often provide landscaping work. However, our client requested us to lay a monoblock driveway to allow for a shared driveway between themselves and their neighbour.
Overall this project took eight weeks to complete from start to finish.
